6 weeks update

Sunday the 19th July saw the 6 weeks anniversary of our son George. He was weighed on Friday and has gone up to a massive 11lb 11oz – that's a whole 1lb and 3oz increase from the week before!

Also, we were visited by the Newbury based grandparents and they noticed a huge change in George's appearance! Besides my parents, more and more people are identifying my features on George (poor boy).

Finally, furry B (Benson) has been behaving very well recently. He still remains playful and eager to catch your attention by stealing your unattended show in the hallway (cheeky pup!)

New car, less sleep and more feeding!

We have finally purchase a new vehicle to replace Claire's Audi A3. Although she was sad to see it go, the Ford S-max 1.8 TDCi Titanium with all its gadgetry is an excellent choice as a replacement. It comes with Sat Nav, multi CD changer, integrated Bluetooth voice control & Ford's privacy glass. It only has 5000 odd miles on the clock and so, should keep us going for a while. (It''ll be my car next to change!!!)

As for family life with George, we have employed a new routine whereby I am involved more with his feeding. (No that doesn't mean I have had surgery to make me produce milk!) I am now feeding George with a bottle at around 11pm and then again at around 4:30am with Claire feeding him at 2am-ish. What this will hopefully achieve is give Claire more sleep (and make me more tired!)
